The level cap interferes with leveling too often because the pacing of the story is too slow to keep up with character progression through battle. In order to remove it, the player must return to a central dungeon on the world map and complete the corresponding floor. A level cap is imposed on the player every tenth level. Enemy encounters and treasure chests are not randomized at all. The Steam achievements have also not been translated into English. ![]() There are minor problems with the English translation of the game. For guidance during this part of the game, the player will need to speak with an NPC named Spectre back at guild headquarters. ![]() + The game includes an epilogue that is entirely optional. More could have been done with this, but the focus of the game is almost entirely on the world of Horizon 4.2. + The game sometimes shows the characters going about their everyday lives when they are not playing Horizon 4.2 together. + Equipping new gear changes the look of a character. + Gaining enough XP to reach the next level does not take too long. + Character skills can be freely customized at any point during the game. + The artwork has a manga style that will appeal to graphic novel readers and JRPG fans. I have tried to include as many of them as possible in this review. ![]() Gameplay suffers from a number of issues. It just isn’t worth the asking price, especially for more experienced gamers who are looking for replayability or a meaningful story with well-developed characters. Noob – The Factionless is not a terrible game. ![]()
